Guatemala Annual Fundraiser:

A Celebration of Arlaine’s Life

On October 30, 2021, Niños del Lago hold by the first time a fundraiser event that took place in Niños del Lago facilities, at the campsite located in San Andres Semetabaj: Guatemalan Annual Fundraiser: A Celebration of Arlaine’s life. We wanted to dedicate that first event to celebrate our dear founder and friend, Arlaine Cervantes, who recently passed away the last year.
AS part of this First Guatemalan Annual Fundraiser Event, we organized also the first Niños del Lago Silent Auction. This auction was possible because of the generous donations of several friends, different business, artist, and others from around the lake and Guatemala City.

Thanks to the great response from Niño’s del Lago friends we raised the fantastic amount of $5,700

We are very grateful to all of the amazing people who donate their time, effort, artwork, skills, and resources in support of Niños del Lago:

The Artisan Stands

We had the privilege of receiving the support of more than 11 artists with the exhibition and sale of art pieces, of which a percentage were direct donations to Niños del Lago.
